About the Event
We will explore the intersection of equity and AI, examining the protection of fundamental rights in AI technologies used to support decision-making processes in recruitment. We will further explore what fairness and equity mean and why these ideas are critical to ensuring AI systems respect everyone’s rights.
Dott.ssa Monique Munarini will guide participants through interactive activities to learn how to identify and address key challenges AI systems may pose in making decisions, especially in recruitment. Using a case study of a company facing difficulties with its AI hiring tools, we will work together to design practical recommendations for creating more equitable AI systems. Participants will explore important ideas like making systems easier to understand, ensuring diverse voices are included, and reducing bias.
This hands-on workshop will provide tools and strategies anyone can use to think critically about AI and help make it better for everyone.
